Abstract (EN)
Tibia continues to be the intramedullary nailingstandard method of treatment of body fractures. Fracture reduction, provision of reduction continuity and stabilization may be difficult in proximal tibial fractures, fragmented or segmented tibial fracturesdue to the flexion position given during the operation. In these fractures, we describe a tibial intramedullary nailing technique with suprapatellar insertion in the semi-extensional position. The purpose of our study is to show the clinical and radiological results of tibial suprapatellar entry intramedullary nailing.
