Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this research is to understand the ways of experiencing violence, coping methods and daily life practices of women who have been subjected to violence and receive services from women's guesthouses, and to determine their experiences in the process of receiving services from women's guesthouses. In the study, concepts such as violence, domestic violence against women, coping methods with them and forms of violence were clarified and legal regulations were also included.The field application of the study is the Women's Guesthouse, and the interviews were carried out in accordance with the confidentiality rules at the Düzce Women's Guesthouse, which is affiliated to the Düzce Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services. Interviews were conducted in the form of interviews without voice recording. In this direction, 18 women who received service from the women's guesthouse were interviewed, but the interviews of 15 women were deemed appropriate to obtain data and were evaluated. As a result of the interview, each woman's coping styles, experiences and expectations in the process of receiving services were evaluated. In line with the results of the interview, it was revealed that the issue of violence against women includes a very comprehensive dimension and that the ways of coping differ in this direction, and suggestions that are thought to contribute to the subject were emphasized.
