This thesis aims to investigate a mediating role of Perceived Workplace Social Support and Perfectionism in the Relationship of Early Maladaptive Schemas and Burnout of white collar employees. The sample of this study included of 170 individuals living in different cities in Turkey; between 22 and 62 age ranges. In this study, Young Schema Questionnaire, Maslach Burnout Inventory, Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale, Perceived Workplace Social Support and COVID-19 Pandemic Community Scale were employed. The findings of the study show that disconnection and rejection, impaired autonomy and achievement, hypervigiliance and inhibition have a statistically significant and positive relationship with perfectionism. According to the findings, the mediator roles of perfectionism and perceived workplace social support in the relation between burnout and disconnection and rejection, impaired autonomy and achievement, hypervigiliance and inhibition schema domains were significant. Results point that participants who get high score from disconnection and rejection, impaired autonomy and achievement, hypervigiliance and inhibition schemas, have low score in perceived workplace social support and have high score in burnout. And lastly, increase in disconnection and rejection, impaired autonomy and achievement schema domains, may result in increase in perfectionism and also burnout. The results of the study are found to be consistent with the relevant literature. The tested model's results may indicate the characteristics of protective measures that play a role in determining the level of professional burnout. Accordingly, the frequency and prevalence of the burnout experienced by the individual and different symptoms of that burnout can be reduced.
