Early hanafi-Maturidy kalam system relationship with sufism

This thesis focuses on the relationship between Sufism and Hanafi-Maturidy theological system in the early period. In the first part, the historical background of the relationship is between the Hanafi-Maturidy Kalam system and Sufism is given. In the second part, the subjects of theology and sufism are examined separately in terms of both disciplines. In the third part, the subject of prophethood which theology and mysticism interacts the most is discussed in terms of custody, inspiration, ismet and miracle. In the fourth and last part, the issues of esma and ahkam which show the common interdisciplinary attitude of Horasan-Mâverâünnehir region are evaluated in the context of kalam and sufism. In the conclusion section, the relationship between the Hanafi-Maturidic theological system and Sufism was revealed in the early period by a common evaluation of all the sections.
