Observation of banking crises for the early warning systems and education of bank staff during crises periods

In this study, it?s indicated that the meaningful signs concerning the crisescan be easily received by following the chosen indicators from the several earlywarning models which are used to foresee the crises term by term just before thecrises. In the scope of this study, several banking crises, especially during the 1980?s,that occured in the world and in our country, after the financial liberalism actions,have been investigated.As a result of the experience, the early warning models that are developingand that will be much more effective year by year have a preliminarily important roleat estimating the banking crises. In addition, as it was in the past also will be in thefuture, it has not been forgotten that many banking crises will happen in manycountries. In possible crise periods in the banking sector, constituting a great part offinancial system, an effective execution of early warning model, will have decreasedcost for the economy. One of the other important points of the study is that theimportance of educated staff on crise management strategy after an effectiveexecution of early warning model. In addition, the importance of informationrelations between the banking sector and the whole financial surroundings have beenemphasized.In this study library research method is used and literature research has beenperformed. At this scope, several sorts of book, digests and articles concerning thesubject have been investigated. In the study the computer is used for data collectionand several internet addresses have been refered to as a source.
