Suggestions against the problems that may occur with the earnings and challenges of brass instrument education at early ages

In this thesis, helpful and constructive solutions for the difficulties of brass instrument education between the ages of 10-13, which is considered as an early age for brass instrument musicians, are mentioned. Within the scope of the thesis, firstly, the superficial history, development and working system of brass instruments are explained. Afterwards, the education system of the Republic of Türkiye and the schools providing education and academic staff are mentioned in Türkiye. Finally, a thirteen-question survey was conducted and evaluated, with the participation of seven brass instrument teachers from different universities who are experts in their fields. As a result of this thesis, it has been observed that the research topic, which is at the intersection of medicine and education, has turned into a more complex structure with students' personal ability levels, age difference, health status and environmental factors. In addition, it has been realized that observation should be made with the support of healthcare professionals in order to solve the health problems that may occur. It has been understood that individual approaches and analyzes should be made for solutions to students' problems. For this reason, while giving suggestions in the thesis, it is focused on the common problems of the students playing the brass instrument family instead of their individual problems.
