Abstract (EN)

Every society has been involved in different belief systems throughout history. Each belief system has brought its vocabulary with it, and therefore the religious vocabulary of each language has undergone constant change. The Turkish language, which emerged as a written language in the 8th century, has continued to develop throughout history, branching out into different branches and interacting with different cultures. This interaction has given the Turkish language a rich vocabulary. The religious vocabulary of Armenian-Kipchak Turkish is an important binding force for this language in historical, cultural and social contexts. The relations of the Kipchak Turks with Christianity have left significant traces in the development of the language and vocabulary of Armenian-Kipchak Turkish. For these reasons, Armenian-Kipchak Turkish is very important for the Turkish language. Many researchers have prepared dictionaries and theses on Armenian-Kipchak Turkish, a historical branch of Kipchak, and various studies have been presented. However, a detailed study of the religious terminology of this historical dialect has not been carried out. In the dissertation we have prepared, entitled "Turkish-Origin Religious Vocabulary in Armenian-Letter Kipchak Turkish", the religious vocabulary of Armenian-Letter Kipchak Turkish is examined, and in addition to contributing to the understanding of the language, culture, and belief systems, it also provides important inferences in the social and historical context. The main purpose of this thesis is that such a study provides a source for the emergence of this cultural wealth. The religious vocabulary of Turkish origin, determined from the most important dictionaries and texts of the field, is presented in the framework of sample sentences and analyses.
