The matter of being intellectual at Erol Güngör and Attila Ilhan

It hasn?t been a sufficient definition of entellectual. Each country has tried to analyise the entellectual metephor by stating some criteria due to the social developments and cultural values of that time. The education level is the most important criteria which seperates entellectual from the others. While it hasn?t a common definition it has survived as different concepts . Both two philosophers are worth being considered as entellectual . While Atilla ?lhan is aa socialist and a nationalist Erol Güngör is nationalist and preservative . In this research it is needed to search how entellectual metephor is considered in the historical period from the Ottoman Empire to now . How are entellectual affected by the time they live in? Do the men who has got different perspectives produce common solutions to the national problems . How are they affected by the developments in their country or the other countries? In this research with the method of skipping it is compared the two different ideas to determine different view of points helps us to understand social reality. In the result of the research : Erol Güngör and Atilla ?lhan Altough they have got differwent ideas they produce the solutions of Turkish society problems . They are the needs and the social reality which produces entellectual identity . Entellectual profile is due to the level of development.
