Abstract (EN)

Eruslu Global group companies area mong the top three in the production of diapers and have a significant share in other productions. Polymeric product resulting from waste are sold and recycled. With the increase in energy price sand burning of combustible waste materials, energy production with the help of water vapor technology has started to be preferred by the companies in the medium term duet to its great economic return. In this thesis, polypropylene, polyethylene (LDPE, MDPE, HDPE), polyethylene terephthalate, polystyrene as well as auxiliary chemicals (hygiene chemicals, adhesive chemicals, dye chemicals, etc.) using diapers, women's pads, packaging film, printed packaging film produced in terms of energy recovery of polymeric waste aimed to evaluate. Characterization, raw material and properties of each of the polymeric products produced as waste produced in Ecoplast-BZ-Eruslu companies of Eruslu Global a were determined. The characterized waste polymers were then subjected to pyrolysis. Then, pyrolysis experiments(100 ml / min Nitrogen flow and 10oC / min heating rate at 400 ve 600oC) were performed. Solid (char), liquid and gas yields were calculated. In this study, calorific values (upper calorific value and lower calorific value), element alanalysis (CHNS and O), ash determination, DTA-TGA-DSC analysis, FTIR analysis, XRD analysis of ash was used for characterization of wastes.
