Özet (EN)

This research was carried out to determine in which period of ripening soybean would be harvested in Erzurum for the purpose of grass yield. The research was formed in the region of 4- number well belonging to The Directory of Agricultural Research and Publishing Center in Atatürk University in 2000. Two kinds of soybean (A-3127 and At 3935) and eight periods of harvesting were included in this experimental study. The research has been set up as 3 replications in factorial arrangement (two kinds of soybean x 8 ripening periods) according to completely randomized block design. Soybean was harvested in different ripening periods, and the effects of harvesting periods on plant length, raw protein, raw celluloses, raw ash, the rates of phosphors and potassium, raw protein yield and fresh and dried grass yield were found significant. Maximum fresh grass yield (1283 kg/da), dried grass yield (494 kg/da) and raw protein yield (5202 kg/da) were obtained at the end of graining period. Among the varieties used in this research, no differences were seen in terms of other examined features except for the rates of raw ash and raw celluloses. According to results of this study, the best ripening periods for grass production was determined at the end of graining period in Erzurum condition 2002, 37 pagesKeywords: Soybean, hay production, harvesting date, maturity stage, forage u
