Abstract (EN)
Due to intensive usage of antibiotics among people, pathogens causing nosocomial infections have become resistant againts various antibiotics. Antimicrobial resistant pathogens are becoming a prevalent cause of hospital- acquired infections. E.coli is one of microorganisms causing nosocomial infections. Therefore, susceptibilities of 48 E.coli strains isolated from 29 blood and 19 urine samples during the period from January 2011- to May 2011 against amikasin and various anbiotics were examined according to NCCLS standard by using ETest® in this study.Of all 29 E.coli strains isolated from blood samples were found to be sensitive to amikasin and imipenem, 89,7 % to cefdazidime, 79,3 % to piperacillin/tazobactam, 62,1 % to tobromycin, 86,2 % to cefotaxime, %86,2 to cefepime, 48,3 % to ciprofloksasin.Of all 19 E.coli strains isolated from urine samples were found to be sensitive amikasin and imipenem, 89,5 % to cefdazidime, 78,9 % to piperacillin/tazobactam, 68,4 % to tobromycin, 78,9 % to cefotaxime, 78,9% to cefepime, 52,6 % ciprofloksasine
