The syntax of old Uyghur law documents

This study, which includes the syntax analysis of Old Uyghur Law Documents written in Old Uyghur Turkic, consists of three main parts: "Determination of Concepts", "Nominal and Verbal Bases" and "Conceptual Relations". In the "Conceptual Relations" section, which is a preparation for the "Determination of Concepts", the root, radical and stem, signification of terms with multiple significance elements and the names of people, clan, tribes, nation, state, place are presented to attention. In the section "Nominal and Verbal Bases", nouns are examined according to the characteristics of singular, plural, generality, verbs; affirmation, negation, generality. The "Conceptual Relations" section of the study consists of the headings "Inflectional Structures", "Definite Determinative Groups" and "Sentence". In the section "Inflectional Structures" presents nominal and verbal inflections; in the section"Definite Determinative Groups" definite noun and definite adjective determinative groups and in the section "Sentence" the agents of sentence, their groups of sentences and sentence forms (916 sentences made with 192 different forms) and the frequency analysis in the general total in detail. At the end of the study, the transliterated version of the Old Uyghur Law Documents, where the syntax analysis was conducted, the translation of the documents into Turkish and a detailed bibliography on the subject were included.
