Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, Zoroastrianism, which is an oldest living religion in the World, is aimed to analyze and evaluate from the perspective of Ancient Greek and Roman sources. In this regard, the study, by dealing with historical process of Zoroastrianism, examines respectively its emergence in Achaemenid era, the corruption of the religion after the arrival of Alexander the Great, the process of its reconstruction in the Parthian era and the impersonation of religion in the Sasanian era. After that the elemental notions of Zoroastrianism is presented with their debates and it is evaluated their effects. Finally, by coping with the attitude of Ancient Greek and Roman vigürevüre which is the main goal of this research, the thesis ends up with materials investigated the vigüre of Zoroaster, religious rituals, existence of Magis and the position of religion in sorcery and astrology.
