Özet (EN)
Eskişehir Fault Zone has a special capacity between the Western Anatolian Extensional Zone and the Northern Anatolian Shear Zone. The extension of the zone further east from its meeting with the Dodurga Fault is introduced as the Eskişehir Fault and from west to east; It is classified as a Holocene fault with a length of approximately 75km, extending WNW-ESE, E W and NW-SE. This is revealed by the emergence of some features (geometry and earthquake propagation) of the İnönü-Oklubali segment, which borders the south of the İnönü settlement center, expands towards Eskişehir and has the potential to be built for earthquake purposes. In the area where this ability was recorded, active fault extensions were mapped in the field using physiographic displacement features and geological/morphological markers. The first paleoseismological comprehensive fault excavation studies were carried out along the İnönü-Oklubali segment of the Eskişehir Fault, and inferences were made for the first time about earthquake behavior characteristicson a segment basis. The findings show that the segment has a length of approximately 19 km in an E-Wdirection. The results of paleoseismological excavations carried out on the fault, which can be easily followed in a narrow zone in the field with geological-geomorphological traces along this extension, prove that at least 2 and possibly 3 surface ruptures occurred during the Holocene period.
