Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out upon anatomic, morphologic and chemical researches of 3 species Crocus L. that distribute in Eskisehir (C. ancyrensis Herbert (Maw)-endemic, C. antalyensis Mathew-endemic, C. chyrsanthus (Herbert)). In morphological studies, the characteristics of the 3 Crocus species like the corm, tunic, shape, the cataphyl number, the bract, the bracteol structure, the tepal measurements, the perigon tube. In anatomical studies, the cross sections that are taken from the roots, stems and leaves of the plants have been examined and the drawing of them have been made. In chemical studies, the volatile compounds obtained by microdistillation of bulb, stylus, tepals and the volatiles were analyzed by GC and GC/MS, simultaneously.
