The myxomycete in Eskişehir Kırka Forest

This study was contucted to determine myxomycetes of Kırka Forest (Eskişehir, Turkey). The moist chamber cultures, together with field collections, were examined to identified myxomycetes. Myxomycetes fruiting bodies were collected in the field and mounted in a small box. Bark samples of living trees, plant litter on the ground, standing dead wood or stumps, downed and decayed wood or bark were collected for moist chamber culture. 54 taxa which belong to 18 genera of myxomycetes were identified and 8 of these taxa were collected in the field. The most represented genera in terms total number species are Arcyria (18.5%), Comatricha (12.9%), Licea (12.9%), Stemonitis (9.2%), respectively. A certain percentage of species belong to the genera: Echinostelium % 1.9, Cribraria % 5.7, Physarum %3.8, Fuligo % 1.9, Collaria % 3.8, Enerthenema % 1.9, Macbrideola % 1.9, Paradiacheopsis % 7.6, Stemonaria % 1.9, Stemonitopsis % 3.8, Dianema % 1.9, Perichaena % 5.7, Trichia % 3.8. Arcyria fasciculata (Dhillon, et Nann - Bremen, 197), Collaria nigricapillitia (Nann-Bremen meat Bozonnet) Lado, 2001, Licea chelonoides (Nann,-Bremen, 1965), Stemonitis farrensis (TN Lakh meat KG Mukerji), Cribraria dictyospora (GW Martin et Lovejoy, 1932), Cribraria atrofusca G. W. Martin et Lovejoy, 1932, Comatricha robusta ((T. N Lakh meat KG Mukerji) Nann-Bremen et Y. Yaman, 1983), Comatricha orthotricha (Bratteng, 1975), Comatricha rigidireta (Nann-Bremen, 1966), Paradiacheopsis longipes (Hoof, meat Nann-Bremen, 1996) are new records for Turkey.
