Abstract (EN)

In this research, 20 registered candidate bread wheat lines and Sönmez-2001, Müfitbey, Yunus, Atay-85 registered bread wheat varieties were used as material in the production period of 2020-2021 in Eskişehir irrigated conditions. It is aimed to determine high yielding and high quality cultivar genotypes by comparing the bread wheat breeding line in terms of yield, yield elements and quality criteria. The research was carried out in a randomized block design with 4 replications in aqueous conditions. Plant height (cm), spike length (cm), spike number (piece), grain number per spike (piece), grain weight per spike (g), 1000 grain weight (g), harvest index, grain yield (kd/da), hectoliter weight (kg/hl) and grain protein (%), wet gluten (%), zeleny sedimentation (ml) properties were examined. As a result of the research, values in the range of 56,60-72,10 cm plant height, 7,48-9,10 cm spike length, 11,68-15,48 number of spikelets in a spike, 14,13-27,40 number of grains per spike, 0,49-1,13 g grains per spike weight, 30,60-41,55 g weight of 1000 wheat grains, 0,31-0,56 harvest index, 152,59-331,04 kg/da grain yield, 73,99-77,59 kg/hl hectoliter weight, % 13,16-%17,07 protein ratio, %29.08-%40.47 wet gluten ratio, and 35,12 ml-68,63 ml zeleny sedimentation value were detected. With this research, according to the yield and quality characteristics values of registered varieties and registration candidate lines in Eskişehir irrigated conditions, Line-5 331,04 kg/da, Line-2 316,92 kg/da and Yunus 280,63 kg/da were the highest grains yield values were found. Average grain yield was calculated as 239,06 kg/da. According to yield, yield elements and quality characteristics, the performance of the Line-5 line was found to be higher. It has been concluded that Line-5 should be evaluated as a variety candidate with its high yield and quality characteristics.
