Flexible working, which has different types and methods, day by day becomes a more popular working method in many corporate organizations. Especially high unemployment rates in developing countries has triggered the tendency to prefer flexible working hours. As the employment rates continue to decrease as a result of the technological developments and automatization, flexible working has turned out to be a highly preferable working method, which decreases costs of the employees while maintaining their worker status, at the same time. Flexible working method became more common by the spread of private employment offices. In the current study, differences between homeworking and full-time working in the informatics sector, are investigated. A survey is applied to employees actively working in informatics sector, which measures work life balance. Results showed that work ife balance scores of people working from home are greater than the work life balance scores of people working from office. Findings indicate that homeworking is advantageous at the point of allocating time to private life and obtaining work and life balance.
