The comparison of the performance costs of flexible pavements and rigit pavements

In the world the technological and scientific developments are too fast, unfortunately our country remains behind from these developments. To catch the level of the developed countries, our country must have a strong economy. To have a strong economy and to reach a competitive level in the world market, the required raw material and products for industry, must reach to the producer and consumer on time. All kinds of projects and investments on transportation network will play an important rol in reinforcement of country's industry. In our country which has a weak economy, the roads must be constructed in high standards with optimum cost. Another issue not to be forgotten is concrete roads. In this thesis, information about types of road pavements has been given. On the other hand; performance - cost comparison has been done between rigid pavements and flexible pavements which are alternatives of road pavement.
