Characters in Esrâr Dede’s Divan

Esrâr Dede is one of the important Mevlevî poets who lived in the eighteenth century. Esrâr Dede’s literary world shaped his relationship with both the Mevlevî surroundings and Sheikh Gâlib who was the most important poet and figure of the period. Because when we look at the content of the works written by the Mevlevî poet Esrâr Dede, this situation seems obvious. Undoubtedly, Esrâr Dede wrote his works with the influence of his Sufi adventure. The aim of this study is to analyze and determine the characters in the Esrâr Dede Divan and the example couplets in which these people take place in the first part of the study, Esrâr Dede’s life and literary aspect were written and presented to the interested parties as a preliminary preparation, and the persons identified in the second part; religious, mystical, historical etc. analyzed in detail under the following headings. In this section, where the individuals are identified and analyzed, the biographical information about the person discussed has not been overlooked.
