Abstract (EN)

The concept of "movement" in the art of painting has been an important concept in various periods, processed with interest by various currents and artists. Many art movements and artists that have emerged from the past to the present have produced works describing movement in their own way. One of the most intriguing methods among them is the "simultaneous deding" method. This method was also used in the pictures made within the scope of the thesis. The aim of this study is to create illustrative applications in which gestures and gesture movements reflect a certain mood in human figures. Qualitative research method was used in the research process; literature reviews were conducted from various sources such as books, journals, articles, dissertations. As a result of the information obtained in this process, it was tried to reveal the ways in which the movement was handled in plastic arts such as painting, sculpture, photography. This thesis study consists of four parts: in the first part, the purpose of the thesis, its importance, problem status are discussed, in the second part the researches on the use of the concept of movement and simultaneous description that form the basis of the thesis in art are discussed, and in the third part the formation process of the paintings made within the scope of the thesis and general explanations about the paintings are mentioned. In the fourth part, the paintings and analysis made within the scope of the thesis are included. In the conclusion section, the results about the literature research and the pictures made within the scope of the thesis are mentioned. The application works in the fourth section consist of 15 canvas paintings. To create these pictures, photos were taken first, then the snails were created, and after the application was decided, studies were carried out on the canvas. In this process, different formal searches were made in each picture with the desire to put out original pictures. Therefore, a process is seen that changes from a formal point of view between the first picture and the last picture. As a result; It has been observed that there are similar points as well as different points between the paintings made within the scope of the thesis and the different artist works made with the same concerns.
