Abstract (EN)

In Turkey, Compulsory liability insurance for medical malpractice was made mandatory in 2010. Since then the health law debates have been increasing parabolically and the debates are still continuous dynamically. This practice aims to solve the legal responsibilities of physicians arising from medical practice errors with material compensation and does not mention the current health system problems and considers the physician patient relationship as purely legal contracts. Since dentists are a branch with the most intensive patient circulation in outpatient treatment, there are often problems in the treatment of patients during the application, and dentists are condemned to pay compensation for these problems. This study evaluates Dentistry as a profession in the history of medicine; for all physicians, in legal practice there is no differentiate between dentists and medical physicians, this study examines current health policies, legal sanctions and the ethical rules of medical ethics from the perspective of autonomy within the framework of ethical theories.
