Abstract (EN)

In recent years there has been a growing debate about ethical aspects of production and trade. This has evolved importance to ethical trade, sustainability and environmentally safe natural resources management. Nowadays world?s most important problem is hunger that could be solved by sustainable farming activities. All papers about organic farming bring out the importance of organic farming for protecting ecological balance and creating sustainable farming system.Although organic farming is a kind of volunteerism, it is open to new enterprises through it?s high margin of profit. But most important point is that new enterprises must never ignore organic farming?s basic ethical standards related to people and environment health. Because importance of ethical trade and people?s sensitiveness related to this topic are getting more and more important all around the world.Principles of organic agriculture are wide ranging and include concerns for safe food production for the environment, for animal welfare and for issues of social justice By this thesis we make some analysis on some organic agriculture players. As a result of this analysis, we bring up ethical standards, ethical problems and core values related to organic consumers, organic retailers, producers and certification institutes.At this point organic consumer?s basic expectation is healthiness of organic products. Therefore, any production, retailing and certification activities against healthiness of organic products can be create ethical problems. On the other hand ignoring ethical principles during the producing, certificationing and retealing organic products is a major impediment for marketing these products. The objective of this thesis is to illuminate ethic issues related to marketing and certificationing organic products.
