Abstract (EN)

Together with the FATIH project, interactive boards have begun to be used in schools. In order to be able to use this technology efficiently, it was necessary for the schools to appoint FATİH project Guidance Teachers of Information Technologies (IT Guidance Teacher). In this study, it was aimed to reveal the opinions of the IT guidance teachers about interactive board use. In the research, qualitative research design pattern, phenomenology, has been used. As sampling method, one of the purposive sampling methods, criteria sampling was chosen. The research group of the study is composed of 20 teachers who are selected from 117 IT guidance teachers assigned to the districts of Battalgazi and Yeşilyurt in the province of Malatya in 2016-2017 education year. Participants' views were collected using a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher. Interview questions were analyzed by content analysis technique. According to the results of the research, it is revealed that many advantages of the interactive board contribute to the understanding of the course contents. Another finding in the research is that, according to opinions of IT guidance teachers, teachers do not use the interactive board effectively at the desired level.
