Perception of teacher candidates related the role of family onto bring up an influential person

Aim of this study is to determine perception of teacher candidates for the role of family onto bring up an influential person and determine the role of family onto bring up an influential person. Model of study is relational survey model that is within a common survey method and quantitative survey model. The research was carried out with 400 pre-service teachers studying in the Social Sciences and Primary Education Departments of İnönü University. 'Family scale for bring up an influential person' is used, as a data collection tool, which is made up of 40 items. Data analysis in survey was performed as using SPSS 21.0 program. At the result of survey, it was found that there is no any significant distinctness depend gender, region and average monthly income. However, it was determined that there is meaningful distinctness depend on department and class grade. As the result of correlation analysis, it was observed that there is a positive correlation at meaningful scale as 0,01 between awareness because of family for bring up person (0.981) and contribution of family to individual development for bring up person(r=0.980). Through analysis result was observed, it was deduced the conclusion, which family has an influential role for bring up person.
