The metropolitanate of Adiyaman from the perspective of ethnicity and music culture

In various phases of human history, scholars of different cultures and beliefs have put forward many theories about the birth of music, some of these theories were accepted by the theorists of the period, while some different theories were not accepted. According to these theories, it is argued that music originated from or was inspired by language, animal sounds and bird calls, people calling out to each other or emotional relationships that people establish with each other. According to some theories, it is argued that no definite judgement has been reached about the birth of music. Music and culture are two phenomena that cannot be separated from each other. In this study, firstly, the etymology of the phenomenon of music and culture will be analysed. Throughout history, music and culture are two inseparable building blocks. Music is the projection of many phenomena belonging to cultures throughout history. The concept of regional music sheds light on the cultures of ethnic groups within the concept of culture. In this study, in the light of this information, the music culture of the region will try to identify the relationship between culture and music from the perspective of ethnicity.
