Abstract (EN)
It is known that Oxypropanolamines have been using as β-adrenoceptor antagonists for a long time. It has been using as a treatment and diuretic for Cardiovascular diseases especially hypertension, thyrotoxicosis, angina pectoris, chronic lung diseases, skin infections It has been observed that there is a need for new drugs that can be resistant to gram positive bacteria which cause various infections due to the increase of resistance against drugs in bacteria and the development of resistance even in the recent use of antibiotics because of the limited treatment options, identification of antibiotics with new mechanisms of action has gained importance. In this study it was thought that high probability of using the final products on living things and 10 new antibacterial products were synthesized using natural alcohols, timol and eugenol. From each compound containing twenty strain and four different bacterial species (A. Baumannii, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, ve S. Aureus) and antibacterial activities of each compound were tested. In all these tests, antibiotic susceptibility profiles of substances was evaluated with Kirby Bauer's disc diffusion method and recommendation of the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute.
