Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACTIn this study, Euphorbia seguieriana was collected from Çanakkale.Antibacterial activities of several axtracts have been studied. The effects of methanolextract and four fractions of E. seguieriana have been examined against Escherichiacoli, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa by discdiffusion assay. MIC/MBC values have been determined.It has been determined that, the methanol extract, the buthanol and thedichloromethane fractions of E. seguieriana have antibacterial effect on S. aureus.Key Words: Euphorbia seguieriana, Euphorbiaceace, Disc Diffusion Assay,Antibacterial effect, IngenolII
