Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the combined turbine obtained by adding a Darrieus type wind turbine to the Savanius type wind turbine, which can be placed in large numbers on tree type chassis bodies suitable for use in residential areas, will increase the power and the design patterns aimed at increasing these values were investigated. For this purpose, the Darrieus type wind turbine joining shapes that can be placed on the exterior of the savanius turbine at 50-100 W Power Ranges suitable for placing in the tree type body were designed and the 50 W savanius-Darrieus combined turbine was manufactured and experimented with these designs. Experiments were conducted in the wind tunnel giving flow rates of 5 and 10 m/S and the results were evaluated. The results show that the initially targeted power and efficiency values have been achieved. Keywords: Darrieus, hybrid, wind turbine, Savonius
