Özet (EN)

This study assessed COVID19-positive and negative CKD patients' renal function, hepatic enzyme activity, along with other biochemical indicators. 100 Azadi Teaching Hospital and Al-Jumhuri Hospital patients had CKD or COVID-19 in December 2022–January 2023. Private laboratories in Kirkuk, Iraq, investigated. This study split volunteers into three groups: Group C is healthy people . Group A patients develop CKD. Group B COVID-infected CKD patients. COVID-positive and COVID-negative CKD patients had higher urea and creatinine levels than controls (P<0.05). The control group and COVID patients had similar AST, ALT, and LDH values in CKD patients. COVID patients and controls had higher glucose and ferritin than controls (P <0.05). COVID patients and controls had higher CR protein and D dimer levels than controls (P < 0.05). COVID patients and controls showed reduced S. calcium levels (P <0.05). COVID patients and controls had higher phosphorus and zinc levels (P<0.05).
