For the collection of the data "Marital Self-Efficacy Scale", "Cognitive Flexibility Inventory" and "Personal Information Form" were used. During the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics along with T-Test, ANOVA, Simple Linear Regression Analysis methods, Pearson Correlation analysis were used and Scheffe Test was applied to determine the within-group variation. According to the findings of the study, a low level of positive correlation was found between cognitive flexibility and marital self-efficacy in married individuals. Analyses were made according to the points participants received to account for certain demographical variants. The findings of the analyses are as follows: Per gender, the self-efficacy level of married women are higher than the self-efficacy level of married men. Per age, the average self-efficacy level of married individuals vary in a meaningful way. According to this, the marital self-efficacy level goes down as the age goes up in married individuals. Per marriage age, the average self-efficacy level of married individuals vary in a meaningful way. According to this, individuals who got married between ages 18-24 and individuals who got married between ages 25-29 have a higher marital self-efficacy compared to individuals who got married under 17. Per the number of children, married individuals with more than four children have a higher self-efficacy than married individuals with only 1 child. In the study, no meaningful variance was found: (a) in the cognitive flexibility and marital self-efficacy averages of married individuals per level of education and income rate, (b) in the cognitive flexibility average per gender and age, and (c) in marital self-efficacy average per marriage duration and number of children. In addition, as a result of the study, it was found that cognitive flexibility in married individuals positively predicted self-efficacy in marriage.
