Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is examine the relationship between the attitudes of married individuals towards violence and their spiritual well-being scores. The study examined the relationship between the attitude of violence and spiritual well-being data obtained as well as the demographic characteristics in the personal information form that shed light on the subproblems. The study was carried out with married male and female participants, residing in Antalya / Muratpaşa. Married participants were considered as individuals, not as a couple. The study was carried out on 474 participants, 56.8% (269) of whom were women, 43.2% (205) of whom were men. Intimate Partner Violence Attitude Scale- Revised form , Spiritual Well-being Scale form and socio-demographic information form were completed by participants involving in the study. SPSS 22.0 computer program was used to analyse the data provided by the scales .It was tested whether there was a statistically significant relationship between the scores obtained from the data and the independent variables of the data. Kolmogorov Smirnov test was used in addition to skewness and kurtosis coefficients in the evaluation of normality parameters. Correlation analysis was performed with the sub-dimensions and demographic information of the measurement tools in which the variables were evaluated. The study consists of two parts. In the first part, the conceptual framework is discussed. In the second part, the method, findings and discussion are given. According to the findings obtained from the research; significant relationships were found between the sub dimensions of spirituel well being and sub dimensions of intimate partner violence attitude. There is a significant negative relationship between transcendence and control, abuse, violence. In addition, were found positive corrections between subdimensions of violence attitude and harmony with nature. It has been determined that the approaches of the participants to violence, spiritual well-being and sub-dimensions differed significantly according to demographic variables such as gender, age, education, income, age of marriage, style of marriage, the period of acquaintance before marriage and the number of children.
