Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to examine the relationship between marital life satisfaction and cognitive flexibility and family resilience levels of married individuals. In addition, it was examined whether marital life satisfaction differs according to various variables such as gender, age, education level, duration of marriage, number of children, and employment status. The study was conducted with 587 married individuals. Marital Life Satisfaction Scale, Cognitive Flexibility Scale, Family Psychological Resilience Scale Short Form (FPSRS) and Personal Information Form were used as data collection tools. Relational survey model, one of the quantitative research models, was used in the study. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Independent Groups T-Test were used to analyze the data using SPSS data analysis. According to the findings of the study, it was found that there was a statistically significant positive and moderate relationship between marital life satisfaction and cognitive flexibility. It was found that there was a positive and moderately statistically significant relationship between marital life satisfaction and family resilience. In addition, cognitive flexibility levels and family resilience levels of married individuals were found to predict marital life satisfaction. In addition, it was found that marital life satisfaction of married individuals differed according to the variables of education level and duration of marriage.
