Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between Sexual Self-Schemas and their Sexual Function levels of married women. The study embraces 394 married women participants aged between 18-50. The research was examined in accordance with the Correlational Survey Model. Sexual Self-Schema Scale, Female Sexual Function Index and Sociodemographic Variables Questionnaire which prepared by the researcher, used as data collection tools. One-way Analysis of Variance (One-way ANOVA), Correlation Studies and Hierarchical Multiple Regression Analysis were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of this research, it was seen that there was a negative relationship in a significant way between total score of both the Sexual Self-Schema and the Female Sexual Function. Additionally, as a result of the regression analysis, it was detected that Sexual Self-Perception which determined by Sexual Self-Schema Perception has been found to be a predictor of women's sexual functions. The findings obtained from this research, the results of the study were discussed within the framework of the relevant literature and suggestions are given for future studies.
