Abstract (EN)

Man needs some basic needs throughout his life. Meeting these needs is important for survival. When we look at the most basic needs of the individual; elements such as food, water, air need, sleep, sexuality and excretion are included. Although factors such as nutrition, water and sleep come to mind when it comes to physiological needs, they are as important as these needs in sexuality, which are at least as important. The individual basically has problems in meeting his other needs without meeting his physiological needs. For the individual, grasping the phenomenon of sexuality and eliminating it without any problems is a very important element in the continuation of his life. The aim of this research is to learn the perspective of married women living in Malazgirt district on sexuality, which is also the subject of the researcher, and to draw attention to the importance of factors such as the thoughts, sources of information and the problem they experience, which are effective in the formation of this point of view. The population of the research consists of married women living in the town of Malazgirt in the province of Muş, and the sample consists of 242 married women who were chosen randomly from this population. For the purpose of the research, quantitative research was used. Accordingly, quantitative data were obtained from the students by using the questionnaire form. In the analysis of quantitative data, the chi-square test of independence was used in the test of frequency tables and related variables. The findings were systematized with the statistical program. As a result of the analysis of the data, it was found that a significant majority of women found sexuality unimportant, their educational status was effective on these thoughts, the information sources about sexuality were insufficient, the way their marriage was formed did not have an importance on the perception of sexuality, women could not express themselves against their spouses about sexuality, and their spouses were more dominant. It has been determined that, besides culture, religion also has an effect on women's thoughts about sexuality. After the results obtained, women should be given regular training in order to eliminate their lack of knowledge and to solve the problems they experience, and it is thought that it is important to disseminate these trainings.
