Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecologic malignancy in developed countries. Type I endometrial cancer, characterized by endometrioid type adenocarcinoma unmet estrogen plays an important role in the formation and progression of disease, Type II endometrial adenocarcinoma, the prototype of which is uterine serous. The first approach for the treatment of endometrial cancer is surgery. Endometrial polyps are detected in premenopausal and postmenopausal women. The overall prevalence of endometrial neoplasia within polyps is%3,57. In this study; total 318 stage I endometrioid type endometrial cancer patients were evaluated and had surgical staging procedures (tah+bso) ,final surgery (2007-2013). Specimens were egzamined by special pathologist. Of these 318 patients, 39(%12) originate from polyps (group 1) the remainder directly endometrium (group 2) Median follow up from date of surgical staging was 33( 2-84 ) months. PFS and overall survival evaluated according to tumor origin. PFS and survival analyses by using SPSS v.17 Median age of patients was 58,31(32-89) .Median age for both groups the same. The PFS in group I was 94,9% and group II 99,6% and OSS in group I 94,9 % ,group II 99,6% respectively.(PFS p:0,004, OSS p: p:0,002) In the first group both PFS and OSS lower than group two, so polyp related endometrioid type endometrial cancer worse prognostic factor.
