Examination of the effects of possible Western Balkan enlargement of the European Union on Turkey in the context of Neo-Functional Theory

Western Balkan's region got a unique role that had been acted by historical, ethnic, social-economic , geopolitic and security factors get a important role have become competetion of the great powers hence it is important fort o European Union and Turkey ensure stability and get a active role in Western Balkans. İf this stabilization can't be achieved in the region , it brought some pros and cons for both Turkey and European Union in terms of social, cultural , economic and security. The main aim with this thesis to examine the factors that the enlargement process of the Western Balkans different than enlargement, to reveal the advantages- disadvantages of the Western Balkans for Turkey and the European Union and the director of bileteral relations in mentioned at Neo-functional theory by revealing pros and cons of possible Western Balkan enlargement for Turkey and the European Union. As a result of the data possible Western Balkan enlargement is a power of European Union, in this case of Turkey's power its presence where possible at Western Balkans enlargement is unique in terms of security and economics for Turkey and European cooperation.
