ABSTRACT MASTER THESIS THE INFLUENCE AND THE CONTRIBUTION OF AYYÂM AL- 'ARAB ON 'ARABIC LANGUAGE AND ITS LITERATURE. İbrahim İSLÂMO?LU Supervisor : Asst. Prof. Dr. Yusuf SANCAK 2002-PAGE- XII+79 Jury : Asst. Prof. Dr. Yusuf SANCAK Prof. Dr. Süleyman TÜLÜCÜ Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir YILMAZ In our thesis we briefly dealt with the chains of the events called Ayyâm Al- Arab and dated back to the two centuries before Islam. In the Introduction it is studied the geographical structures of Arabian Peninsula Arabic way of life, the relationships of that area with the World, origins of Arabic people and also dealt with the emergency of Arabic writing and Arabic way of learning and using it. We then mentioned about Arabic religious, social and cultural life in the time of ignorance (Al-Jahiliyyah) and some certain Arabic states at that given time. In The First Chapter of our thesis, we emphasized on the definition and nature of Ayyâm Al- Arab and after being spoken of the fixation and collection of that period, We also give some brief information on some very important ones.
