Filistin-İsrail barış girişimlerinin başlamasında rol oynayan temel faktörler

The Israeli-Palestinian question is among the most complex and chronic questions of the Middle East. The basic problems which exist between Israel and Palestine more than one-half century and the failure of the peace initiatives have created, during the process before and following the 2nd Intifada, the similar effects/consequences from the point of view of the parts concerned. The basic problems which could not have been solved in spite of many peace initiatives have caused a sort of similarity/continuity concerning the factors which have oriented the parts concerned towards the peace process. This study examines the interior (regional) and the exterior (global) factors playing a determinant role in the starting up of the Israeli-Palestinian peace initiatives. The principal aim of this study is to analyze the similarities/continuities between the interior and the exterior factors which have oriented the parts concerned towards the Israeli-Palestinian peace initiatives.
