Abstract (EN)

In the course of this study, the medical in-patient treatment institutions which are attached to the Turkish Ministry of Health and established in the central districts of 81 provinces, have been subjected to the factor analysis process. The eight parameters which underwent an analysis, have been reduced to two factors which served to explain a part corresponding nearly to the 90% of total variance. In the ranking carried out according to the first factor, the Ankara Numune State Hospital took the first place being the most advanced hospital while the State Hospital of Şırnak Province has taken place being a hospital developed at the lowest level. According to the second factor scores, while the Sakarya State Hospital has taken the first place among the hospitals which are presently rendering services over the capacity of their beds, the Tunceli State Hospital took the first place among those hospitals which are rendering their services with the lowest capacity. Key Words : Factor Analysis, Principel Component Method, Common Variance (Communality), Residul Variance
