Abstract (EN)

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most prevalent lung cancer type. It has become a topic of numerous research to enlighten its ontogeny and molecular pathogenesis during the decade. However, an efficient targeted therapy has still not emerged. Thus, there is a need for more effective therapies against NSCLC. NSCLC mainly originates from Clara cells and alveolar type II cells thus due to their vital role in NSCLC; in this project, it is aimed to isolate these cell types from mice and upon their isolation they will be immortalized. In this way, we will have created our own cell lines for our later studies other than this project. The main reason for this is to optimize our procedure and try to make straight-forward protocol. During the research, Clara cells are successfully isolated and immortalized, and alveolar type II cells are about to be isolated. Although some complications, we have successfully optimized our protocols and it is possible to apply the methods that are covered in this project without any hesitation and time loss.
