Abstract (EN)
Oncology has been a rapidly developing branch of science in terms of both diagnosis and treatment options in recent years. Cancer treatment has made significant development, especially in human and small animals. In addition to the scientific studies that are invasive and affecting the patient in the treatment, there are also quite a number of qualified studies on traditional (folkloric) options. Most of the anti-tumour agents (chemotherapeutics) used in cancer treatment have cytotoxic properties and are mainly designed to stop tumour growth. However, for the ideal therapeutic agent to be useful, it must be selective and minimal toxic. The fact that most of the substances used in classical cancer chemotherapy have a cytotoxic character can lead to a decrease in the patient's resistance and quality of life. Prepared from completely natural ingredients, the myrtle tree extract has no known side effects. Because of there is limited number of scientific resources about effects of Myrut extract on Erlich tumor, shows that importance of this study. The study was made, the comparison of myrtle tree extract with cisplatin was made, and it was observed that myrtle tree extract gave better results than cisplatin. In addition, the life time of the control cancer group in this study is the least compared to the other groups. The life time of the treatment groups has increased significantly. The results of the group that was given murt tree extract before cancer was better than the other groups, and it increased the life span and decreased the number of cells. The usability of myrtle extract for the prophylaxis of liquid Ehrlich tumors in both human and animal was demonstrated.
