Difference sets and their applications on the binary sequences

In the study of this thesis, first of all, the general definition of difference sets, their properties, families, existence problems, some applications of constructing binary sequences, and relevant general information were presented by benefiting from the existence literature. Later on, the studies are made on a coding mask that is an application of difference sets for constructing binary sequences. To construct the coding mask, an appropriate group and a difference set in this group were found by using the constructed codes made by computer software program. Finally, by using this founded difference set, a coding mask was formed.
