Abstract (EN)
Historical arched bridges are one of the most important elements of our cultural heritage. For this reason, protecting and carrying them into the futere is everyone's responsibility. While fulfilling this responsibility correctly; identifying arched birdges and better and understanding the materials and the techniques that was used, would be quite beneficial. In this study, information about historical arched bridges has been given. Structure, parts and construction process of arched bridges told and types of arched bridges has been analyzed. Construction process of arched bridges has been shown via a teorical and sample restoration project. In the last section of this work, two different historical arched bridges were modeled three dimensionally via solidworks program. To make statistic analysis, these models were transferred to ANSYS and SAP2000 program. Static and dynamic analyses were done by elastic stresses were calculated. Finite Element Method was used in all these analyzes, all the processes and adjustments made during the stages of the preparation of the models on the programs and the preparation of the programs for the analysis are explained with screenshots.
