Abstract (EN)
Removal of Remazol Brilliant Blue R dye from aqueous solutions were performed with adsorption techniques using by Amberlyst A21 and modified activated carbon with acetone. In this thesis study, effects of pH and contact time on removal of Remazol Brilliant Blue R were investigated. The obtained data shown that Remazol Brilliant Blue R were removed effectively by Amberlyst A21 and modified activated carbon with acetone and the maximum removal percentage were 89.23 %; at initial Remazol Brilliant Blue R concentration of 100 ppm, pH 2 and contact time of 150 minute. The obtained data from initial dye concentration studies were calculated according to Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin isotherm models. The kinetic investigations were carried out using by pseudo first order, pseudo second order and intra particle diffusion kinetic models. As a result of thesis study; adsorption of Remazol Brilliant Blue R on Amberlyst A21 and modified activated carbon with acetone surface obey with Langmuir isotherm model and pseudo first order kinetic model.
