Abstract (EN)

In this study WANT (Wingate Anaerobic Power Test) and BOSCO (30 seconds Multiple Jump Test) were conducted to look at the relationship between power values. The test?s subject group consisted of 10 male athletes and a control group of 8 male students from a School of Physical Education and Sports, their mean age was 18,60±0,51; 21,75±1,28 years, their mean body weight was 69,10±5,48; 64,87±6,59kg and their mean height was 1,78±0,05; 1,76±0,05cm. The Wingate and Bosco tests were applied with one week intervals between them respectively. For the WANT test a ?Monark 894E Anaerobic Test Ergometer Upright Bike? was used and for the Bosco tests they were measured by means of an instrumented landing pad. After the two tests the Peak Power (PP), Minimum Power (MP) and Anaerobic Fatigue Index (FI) were calculated. All data obtained from the research was saved using ?SPSS 15? statistical software, the Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the independent groups and the Wilcoxon test was performed to compare dependent groups, a level of 0.05 significance was used (p<0.05).As a result; the athlete and control group?s anaerobic performance was compared; the athlete?s WANT PP value was higher and also their Bosco PP was higher than the control group?s (p<0,05). And when we looked at the FI data values they were found to be significantly higher in the both groups of Bosco test?s value. Also FI percentage of athletes than the controls (p<0,05).
