Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study was to investigate exercise induced variation of insulin, obestatin, leptin, acyl ghrelin, Growth Hormone (GH), and IGF-I hormones in transition, preparation and competition training periods in gymnasts. Nine female gymnasts aged between 9-11 years were participated in this study. Blood samples were collected at 08:00h (fasting), 09:30h (pre-training), 12:30h (post-training) and 14:00h (following recovery) during transition, preparation and competition training periods, and plasma level of insulin, obestatin, leptin, acyl ghrelin, GH and IGF-I were assessed. Morning workouts were conducted between 09:00-12:30h during preparation and competition training periods.
