Effects of nitrogen doses cutting numbers different agricultural and quality characteristics of tarragon plants (Artemisia dracunculus L.)

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of nitrogen doses (0, 4, 8 and 12 kg) and cutting numbers (flowering and seasonal) on some agronomic and quality characteristics of the ecotypes of Artemisia dracunculus (Kağızman and Hasankale). Nitrogen doses were not statistically significant on other characters except for plant height.There was a numerical difference; among other characters, there was a numerical difference, plant height, wet herb, drug herb, drug stem and leaf yield were found to be 8 kg nitrogen dose, and the volatile oil rate was 12 kg nitrogen dose. The effect of the cutting numbers on the examined parameters was important. In particular, the first form values are higher than the second form values. There is no difference between the ecotypes in terms of the characters examined. However, it was determined that the Hasankale ecotype has more properties than the Kağızman ecotype. Based on the results of one year study, it was determined that the doses of 8 kg nitrogen of the reservoir had a positive effect on other properties except the volatile oil ratio and the highest rate of volatile oil in the dose of 12 kg of nitrogen when the nitrogen doses and cutting numbers in the ecotypes of both cultivars were taken into account . It has been determined that the ecotypes of the Hasankale ecotype are superior to those of the Kağızman ecotype.
