Özet (EN)

This research has been conducted for the growing season 2011-2012 at Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Agriculture Research and Experimental Farm. The experimental design was a split plot with completely randomized blocks. The plant material comprised the wheat varieties Victoria, Anapo, Ziyabey, Cumhuriyet-75 and Sagittario. On the bread wheat varieties the fertilizers Amonium nitrate, %26N (DMPP) and Amonium sulphate were applied. In the work, in addition to the potential yield and the yield components ear density, 1000-kernel weight, kernels per ear and ear length the quality parameters protein and starch contents was quantified. Ammonium sulphate fertilizer had better effects on the yield and quality parameters in comparison to the other two fertilizer forms. Especially positive effects on the quality parameter starch content and the yield component 1000-kernel weight were observed. However, the effects on yield components and quality parameters in many cases were not significant. The single application of 26% N (DMPP) fertilizer, which causes a slow release of nitrogen could bring competitively yield and quality results in equation to the other two nitrogen fertilizer forms.
