Abstract (EN)

The antibacterial effects of various honeys (acacia, pine, flower, lavender, blackthorn, manuka, citrus, chestnut, mad honey and linden honey) obtained from these suitable different regions on some antibiotic-resistant bacteria were investigated. 8 microorganisms (Salmonella Typhi ATCC 14022, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Escherichia coli ATCC 11775, Enterococcus faecium ST17 (Van resistant), Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Enterococcus faecalis, Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 11994, Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086 ) resistivity was measured . In determining antibiotic resistance; Ampicillin, vancomycin, streptomycin, erythromycin, kanamycin and clindamycin antibiotic discs were used. Plants with high antibiotic resistance (Salmonella Typhi ATCC 14022, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Escherchia coli ATCC 11775, Enterococcus faecium ST17 (Van resistant) were formed and 10 different types of honey (acacia, pine, flower, lavender, gorse, manuka) were produced by agar diffusion method). According to the data obtained, it was observed that Acacia, Manuka, Lavender, Pine, Chestnut and Citrus honeys formed a zone diameter of 30-44 mm against Bacillus Subtilis (B9) bacteria. These honeys appear to have antibacterial effects against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Enterococcus faecalis, Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 11994 and Bacillus coagulans (GBI-30, 6086). Keywords: Honey, Antibacterial effect, Antibiotic resistance, Patogen
